* The Year of this handbook corresponds to the year of regular entry into the program, typically the academic year in which a student takes BIOEN 3301 (Computational Methods), ideally the spring semester of the sophomore year. This will also become the ``catalog year'' for each student.
The Department of Bioengineering offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, as well as a program for earning a combined BS/MS degree in Biomedical Engineering. The Department also offers MS, and PhD degrees (described elsewhere (follow this link)).
This handbook is intended to give information about policies and procedures
for the undergraduate program in Biomedical Engineering. Please come to the
Department office at Sorenson Molecular Biotechnology Building Suite 3100, Office 3221, or email
the undergraduate advisor and coordinator
(Heather.J.Palmer@firstname.lastname@example.org), if you have questions not answered here. The information in this handbook as well as various downloadable forms are also available online at www.bioen.utah.edu.
